All Hartford Jt. #1 students are able to receive meals for breakfast and lunch at no cost for the 2021-22 school year. A meal must include one serving of fruit and/or vegetable to be provided at no cost.
Meals will be provided at no cost regardless of free/reduced eligibility. Receiving meals from more than one community location is prohibited.
All families are still encouraged to complete the free and reduced price meal application if they believe they qualify as this information may be used to waive eligible school fees, determine educational funding, and will be needed when district-wide free meals end.
Virtual Learners & Non-enrolled children:
*Meals must be requested via online order form between 9:00 AM Friday and 9:00 AM Monday.
*One order form per child receiving meals will need to be completed. Children may only receive 1 breakfast and 1 lunch per scheduled school day. Receiving meals from more than one community location is prohibited.
*The district will provide meals for school days only. Meals will not be provided for weekends, holidays, breaks or other non-school days. This Federally Funded program will run through the end of the 2021/2022 school year or until funding has run out.
*Meal orders will be available for pick up on Tuesday mornings from 10:00am - 10:30am at Central Middle School, 1100 Cedar Street, Hartford, WI 53027, Food Service Receiving Door #3 (north side of the building). Children do not have to be present during pick-up.
