In the event of an emergency, having a direct and clear way to communicate accurate information to you is our top priority. We utilize three primary communication channels to provide timely updates. Please review the options below to ensure your family can be reached.
1. Mass Communication Emergency Contact System
To provide our parents and guardians with greater flexibility and ease of use, the District uses a mass communication system to notify you of important information and emergency alerts.
Action Needed: You can easily set up your emergency contact preferences through Skyward Family Access. If you have questions about your Skyward account or need password assistance, please contact your school main office.
2. District Facebook Page & Website
In addition to notifications, official information is posted on our primary online channels:

- Facebook Page: Look for the Facebook icon at the bottom of any page on the District Website. Please "Like" our page for easier access to regular updates!
3. Updated Email Address Information
We rely on up-to-date email information to deliver important District news, school newsletters, and PTO updates. These publications are distributed electronically (hard copies are available upon request).
Privacy Guarantee: Email information is cross-referenced with Skyward Student Information and supersedes prior records. The School District of Hartford Jt. 1 does not sell or share your information; it is exclusively used for official school business.
